Government Supports a Church!!! Call the ACLU

Washington National Cathedral

Take a look at the photo at right. Does that edifice look like a church?

It looks like a church to me. It is, in fact, a church. It is the Washington National Cathedral and while its website claims that it receives “no support from the federal government,” that is not exactly truthful.

The following is from the National Cathedral website:

“Washington National Cathedral has received a  $700,000 grant from the Department of the Interior’s National Park Service,  through the ‘Save America’s Treasures’ grant program.

Is this American treasure not a church? Is the Department of the Interior not a government agency? Is this grant not taxpayer dollars?

Fear not, National Cathedral. For the ACLU, nor the Americans United for the Separation of Church and State, nor Obama’s goons will challenge you and take away your grant. Why? Because the National Cathedral has begun performing same-sex marriages.

The hypocrisy of the left knows no bounds.
