Technical Difficulties

The last few weeks have been challenging.

In some ways it has brought new meaning to the saying “you would be paranoid too, if everyone was out to get you”.

One scandal after another has added significantly to the mistrust of our government.  It should be obvious to anyone that our privacy has been compromised and our government is under the control of people who should not be in any position of authority in a free country.

The Life and Liberty Media has experienced some technical difficulties which have prevented us from publishing new posts over the last week.  Let me share some of the information that makes me suspicious as to the origin of our problems:

  • I recently noticed that when I view emails in one of my accounts, some emails I have not yet read have already been opened.

  • Notice was given to me that one of my credit cards had been compromised, so the card was canceled and a new card issued.

  • Some of our internet sites have experienced changes we did not initiate, and access has been impaired.

  • A second credit card was compromised.  The company would not tell me exactly how or by whom, “for security reasons”.  Card canceled and new card issued.

  • The computer I use to do most of my writing and publishing suddenly crashed.  A professional computer tech spent several DAYS correcting the problems and restoring files.

  • One of the organizations I run, The Faith and Family Foundation, applied for a 501 3-C tax status.  That organization operates a thrift store that serves the community and gives clothing and merchandise away daily to those in need.  Our mission is to serve the community and promote conservative Christian principles.  Most recently, we sent a truck load of clothing to the Standing Rock Indian Reservation.  After MONTHS of delay, our application was chosen for “additional scrutiny” by the IRS.  Still no word on when or if we will be approved.

  • On a three-day trip across South Dakota to meet with other conservatives, a small aircraft followed me the entire way.

  • My right thumb was smashed on the top of a steel post, resulting in an overnight stay in the hospital and surgery.

SO, while I believe we are back on track with most of our mission, we have experienced some interesting obstacles along the way.  Go ahead, call me paranoid, but it makes me wonder if all of this is simply coincidence.

PS… I take full credit for the thumb issue.  The part about the aircraft is fictional.  I just included that to make it seem more exciting.  The rest of it… well, decide for yourself.
