Even at 96, the Reverend Billy Graham is crystal clear.
Graham said, “our children are growing up in a “lawless and wicked age, infused with the philosophy of the Devil, who says, ‘Do as you please.’”
That is pretty straightforward. It is also an accurate assessment of America.
He went on, to describe the root problem in our country, “we have taken God out of our educational systems and thought we could get away with it. We have sown the wind, and we are now reaping the whirlwind. We have laughed at God, religion and the Bible.”
So how do we transform America? According to Graham, it isn’t that complicated. “Christ in the home, in the lives of the parents, is the only permanent solution to the menacing teenage social problems in America. Church every Sunday and daily prayer will solve 90 percent of the problems you have with your children.”
His comments won’t set well with some people. God in education? Church every Sunday and daily prayer?
What’s next, God in government??
We can only hope and pray! Without a return to God, and moral principle, there is no more hope for America than Sodom and Gomorrah.
God has given us the solution to our problems. We have but to embrace it.
2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

AND Billy Graham had quite the hand in America’s downfall…he is a card-carrying Democrat STILL. You don’t know how many people I have heard say, “If voting Democrat is good enough for Billy Graham , its good enough for me.” He’s going to have one huge debt to pay before he passes those pearly gates….Abortion…”NO GOD” in the Democrat platform…Obama… I daresay he has done more harm than good by not using his bully pulpit to shape America for the better. Any time he could have denounced his party but he did not.
While he has been a voice for good in a powerful way, it saddens me that he has been largely silent on the political issues. I take great encouragement that his son is on a different path. Franklin Graham may be the standard to which American pastors should aspire.
