Your Last Day?

I remember the day…

Do you?

A longtime friend wrote this personal testimony on facebook.  It speaks of a life permanently changed in one moment of time.

Oswald Chambers asks the question, ” Has there been a point in your life which you now mark as your ‘last day’? ((of the ‘old life’)). Is there a place in your life to which you go back in memory with humility and overwhelming gratitude………..?”
There is a resounding “Yes!!” as I recall that day back in 1955 when I knelt by my bed a sinner and rose to my feet a ‘new creation in Christ’!!
Many times, I’ve gone back in memory to that awesome time – Times when I’ve gone through hard places and almost given up until that memory cropped up,reminding me of His patience, love and the promise He would never leave me. And I know He never has, even when I do not sense His presence.
I’m reminded if that great song by Andrae Crouch, ” Through It All”. “If I’d never had a problem, I’d never know that He could solve them; I’d never know what faith in God could do.”
“Through It all, through it all, I’ve learned to trust in Jesus; I’ve learned to trust in God…….”
And so it has been, over these many years. Thank You, Lord!!

If you haven’t had this life-changing experience with Christ, today would be a great day!

Scripture tells us “Today is the day of salvation”.
