Overkill On Killings

“Following the Bloody Footsteps”

Image result for media hype

That was one of the many headlines about the shooting deaths of two media personnel.  Really, when is enough, enough?

No one questions how tragic this shooting was.  I would not minimize the murder of these innocent people.

I can’t help but wonder, though, why the nation needs to be subjected to 24 hour coverage of this news story for the better part of a week.  Shouldn’t it be enough to report it, do a story on it and move on to other news?  Surely there is some.  Could we end the media murder marathon and cover some news?

Some people are wondering if the OVER-reporting of murder and gun violence is by design, to set the stage for more gun control or perhaps the elimination of the 2nd amendment altogether.  Regardless of that, NEWS reporting would be nice.

A few topics of interest come to my mind:Ad

What is the latest report on the stock market?

Is Biden getting in the Presidential race?

What is Congress doing about our national debt?

Is anyone making a serious effort to get government out of our health care?

Is there any Republican running besides Trump and Bush?

What did Obama do today?

Seriously, everything has been said, and it seems by now everyone has said it.  Can we move on?

There MUST be other news besides murder and gun violence.
