A PRAYER FROM THE RESTORATION RALLY AT PIERRE, SD 1/11/11

The following prayer was offered by Vixie Miller at the Restoration Rally which was held on Tuesday, January 11, 2011 in the Capitol Rotunda at Pierre, SD.

Father, in the name of Jesus, I speak your Word from 2 Chron.19 that says, “The judges and lawmakers are to consider carefully what they do because they are not judging for man but for the Lord.  Now let the fear of the Lord be upon them.  For with the Lord our God there is no injustices or partiality or bribery.

To the House of Representatives, to the Senators, to the Governor and the Judges in this land of South Dakota:  We DECREE you must serve faithfully and whole heartedly in the fear of the Lord.  In every case, every bill, that comes before you, from you fellow countrymen in South Dakota, whether bloodshed or other concerns of the law, commands, decrees or ordinances, you are warned not to sin against the Lord; otherwise his wrath will come upon you and your brothers.

And Father God, according to your Word in Psalms 109:* I ask that none of these public servants be given over to greed, selfish motives, dishonest gain, or sexual immorality of any form.  But, if they do, “May their days in office be few and may another take their place in leadership!”

And Heavenly Father, according to your Word in Joel 2, “Like the dawn spreading across the prairies of South Dakota, let a large and might army of believers arise and take a stand for “righteous rule” in South Dakota.  We give you thanks Lord that South Dakota begins to legislate the nation.  We thank you that South Dakota moves into a place of usefulness to you God, a place of strategic national influence.

In Jesus name. AMEN

Amen and may our leaders look in favor @ at the small common man and not be slave to the large companies only. The small companies are the back bone of South Dakota and carry a unfair load. Keep us in your prayer and consideration.
