He felt Isaiah 60:9, Isaiah 49:1&6 where for him to live out. He encouraged his men to be kind to the first natives he met as he believed they were willing to become Christians.
Cortez armed with ferocious Christian Faith entered and Conquered the Demonic Aztec Empire, who had daily human sacrifice and cannibalism. Montezuma was worse than Hitler in that he ate his victims. Cortez had only a few hundred men and he defeated the Million man Aztec Army by completely trusting God and with the help of thousands of formerly oppressed Mexican non-Aztecs who where Sacrifices by the thousands to the False Gods. Cortex planted churches all over Mexico; and rid the world of the hideous Death-Cult of the Depraved Aztecs.
Around 1600, King James I began persecuting Christians who wanted to separate from the Church of England. They were forced to leave everything and flee to Holland. These people grew in their faith for several years and then left for America in 1620. They Believed they were to Advance the Cause of Christ in the new world and established the Plymouth Colony and Covenanted with God and Each other in the Mayflower Compact.
A great Revival exploded in all 13 Colonies in the 1730’s which prepared the way for the Heroic Conviction that WE HAVE NO KING BUT JESUS.
After 56 men Pledged their Lives, their Fortunes and their Sacred Honor to the Truth that ALL MEN ARE CREATED EQUAL, we became The United States of America and Defeated the British with their strongest Navy on Earth.
We now have the same Holy Protector that they had. Let us call on God to deliver us from Atheism, Isis, all Radical Islam, Homosexual Marriage, Abortion, Socialism, Communism and Humanism in the name of Jesus.
