Bosworth Should Keep Her Medical License

The Board of Medical Examiners revoked the license of Dr. Annette Bosworth.

 bosworth

Why?  Because of a dozen or so political petition signatures which she did not personally witness.  It had nothing to do with her competent delivery of medical services as a Doctor.  The Board’s attorney argued that Bosworth simply “can not be trusted”.  That is a VERY lame argument.  Her trustworthiness as a physician was not called into question.  No evidence of ANY violation of trust in her medical practice.

Bosworth was steamrolled.  The real guilt lies with those who over-prosecuted her and took her license to practice medicine.

Now, the decision has been given to Circuit Judge, Doug Hoffman.  Bosworth appealed her case, and Judge Hoffman will review and hand down a decision.  The Judge seemed to view the Medical Board’s revocation as “arbitrary”, rather than considering the merits of Bosworth’s performance as a Doctor.  That might be reading between the lines, but for those of us praying for justice to prevail in this case, it sounded encouraging.

Maybe there is hope that justice will prevail.

I was at her Governor-appointed “Medical” Board trial (not!…the “Medical Board” has a bureaucrat and lawyer-politician on it who serve the governor, not the doctors). The whole scene was a bad melodrama with a bad acting lawyer and “expert” witness who just wanted Annette to spend a year at his rehab for MD’s in Omaha. It was a truly hilarious play-acting to convict an innocent person…only it wasn’t funny when the board turned it into a tragedy by taking seriously the ridiculous remarks of the silly-acting prosecuting lawyer. BTW THIS is the same board that is accused of wrongful death…and THEY condemned someone of a few petition errors by a grandiose comedy of exaggeration…when they THEMSELVES are being sued for allowing an Iranian Doctor to kill patients because he was an high paid spine surgeon. Even Lt Governor Matt Michels is mentioned in this suit. They are all being sued because they loved the extra money a surgeon-killer accrued for a Yankton Hospital…Im asking God for front row seats when this board goes before the great white throne of judgment. That will finally be good entertainment.

I feel she should retain her license to practice medicine. What she did does not reflect on her ability as a doctor.

Isn’t the right to petition one of our constitutional rights? Omg. this is just horrible. I pray she finds the way to fight and appeal.
