Declaring suicide bombing illegal will not end terrorism.

Neither will restricting gun ownership.

As the left continues to clamor for “gun safety” laws (gun control and elimination of 2nd amendment rights), another terror attack claims the lives of over 30 people in Turkey.  These terrorists were suicide bombers with a mission to kill innocent people.

If legal gun ownership were eliminated or further regulated, terrorists would still have guns.  Law abiding citizens would be defenseless and freedom would be restricted in the name of “security and safety”.  If knives were illegal, terrorists would still have knives.

The obvious escapes the left.  Deranged terrorists will use airplanes, guns, knives, bombs, automobiles… whatever they choose to kill innocent people.  Making any or all of these tools illegal does not and will not stop the killing.  It will only further impede our freedom and give us even LESS safety and security.

Benjamin Franklin had it right when he said, “Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.”

What Franklin didn’t say is that you also GET neither Liberty nor Safety.
