Scientists are working to develop human-animal embryos.
Do you find that a little unsettling?
They call them “chimeras”. That alone bothers me. NPR did an informative report this year on the subject. In order for these “chimeras” to develop “human” organs, they are surgically implanted into the womb of pigs. Call me closed minded, but that bothers me too.
It’s all being done in the name of science. The scientists offer this as their attempt to reassure and justify their efforts, “We’re doing this for a biomedical purpose.”
Where does it end? We have seen the redefinition of marriage as being between one man and one woman. This redefinition has opened the door for men to marry men and women to marry women. Some have now “married” themselves. Others have married animals, children and trees. The new normal is “equal rights” for everyone… and everything.
Some of us could have never imagined our present world reality. Does the future hold animal-humans with “equal rights”? One can only wonder.
It all reminds me of the story about the Tower of Babel. The conversation in Heaven revealed that “nothing would be impossible” for these people who were unified in this purpose. The reaction from God was to intervene. Apparently, the tolerance and patience of God has limits. My imagination sees another intervention in the making.
Perhaps, the victorious return of Jesus.

Much of the New Testament talks about the last days of earth as we know it. Iniquity will abound and love will wax cold (Matt 24:12) Paul talks about perversions in Romans. Again in Matthew 24 — if these days were not shortened, meaning an acceleration of the second coming, even the very elect would be deceived. We do know however that the Second coming will not be for at least 1,260 days as in Revelation Chapter 11 it talks about the two witnesses who will preach in Jerusalem and then be stoned and resurrected after three days. We know too from Revelation, that God will intervene and rain down plagues upon the earth. It may not be a fun time
SAnford has been doing this for years in their “Promise Lab” ….why do you think they write legislation for genetic control and pass it through Pierre? All the bought and paid for Sanford Legislators eat this up. I have heard that there is a herd of 80 cows south of Sioux falls with human DNA (for transplants they say). The first legislator to stop would be Munsterman who carries all this garbage.
