The “Day without immigrants” made me wonder…

What would the world look like if there were a “Day without Christians”?

If Christians didn’t show up for work, school or other activities, the world would look significantly different.  Believers know that their prayers impact the world, and stay the assault of the forces of evil.  If those prayers ceased, the downward spiral of humanity would be astounding.  Satan would, indeed, not be restrained.

It might surprise some to hear that there WILL BE A DAY when Christians don’t show up.  When the rapture of true believers happens, those left on earth will experience evil like never before.

1 Thessalonians 4:17 foretells of this event related to true believers in Christ, “Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord.” 

Not everyone will be going… “I tell you, in that night there will be two in one bed. One will be taken and the other left. There will be two women grinding together. One will be taken and the other left.”  Luke 17:34

It won’t be much fun to live in a world without the body of Christ.  I am thankful I won’t be staying here to find out!
