…  the Republicans are unwilling to do what is correct and necessary for fear of angering the voters.

ObamaCare was designed, despite the Democrat’s claims, to deliberately force insurance companies to fail so that Obama could “save” the public by bringing in a purely government run healthcare system. Yesterday Aetna announced it was withdrawing from the ObamaCare HealthCare Exchanges.

Although the HR 277 supposedly repeals many of the ObamaCare taxes a main problem with HR 277 is that the government continues to be a part of and in the management of the healthcare system. Nowhere in the US Constitution is the premise that the federal government would be involved in healthcare. As time goes on, as is true with every government-run program, the program will mutate into something it was never meant to be. It will expand, become more and more expensive, and increase the level of control and decrease the level of freedom of the patients. The program will interfere with the patient – doctor relationship. Abortion, although funding is supposed to be denied, will eventually be put back into the plan as will be the curtailing of funding for the elderly.

The correct answer would be for the government to get out of healthcare but the Republicans are simply too afraid of the backlash of doing the right thing.

*** Dr. Ed Picardi *** Is a licensed surgeon and expert on government efforts to control health care in America

When Dr. Picardi spoke out against ObamaCare, he was targeted, prosecuted and sentenced to prison. He served 5 years in prison, and is now free to once again pursue his missionary work, speak on issues of concern and pursue his passion as a surgeon.
