Medicare Failed Macedonian

On May 30, 2017, I helped a Macedonian-American from Crown Point, Indiana.  He brought a bill from a hospital to my office and asked why he got the bill.  He complained that he bought an insurance policy through our agency, but it wasn’t paying anything.

Because of his complaint, I decided to bring him to my office while I worked on the problem.  I used a speaker phone so that he could hear what other people were telling me as I investigated the medical bill problem.

While in my office, the client heard that Medicare failed to send the claim information about the bill to his insurance company.  You can’t blame an insurance company (or the agency that sold the policy) when Medicare fails to send claims information to the insurance company.

I wrote a letter to the hospital to fix the problem.  The client was glad that I helped.  All the help that I gave this client was FREE OF CHARGE.  This insurance agency regularly “goes the extra mile” to help our clients in such situations.  If the insurance agent or agency that you use does not “go the extra mile” for you, maybe you should switch to one that does.
