Senator McConell is “irritated”.

Well, isn’t that special!!

In defense of the “underperformance” of the Senate, McConnell attempts to lay the blame on an “inexperienced” President who “has not been in this line of work before”.

PLLLLEASE!!

McConnell’s remarks demonstrate just how out of touch with reality the US Senate is.  He does, indeed, represent the entire Republican contingent of Senators, who resoundingly re-elected him as their leader.  On it’s face, that speaks volumes.

The President reportedly gave McConnell an earful in a phone conversation after McConnell’s remarks.  One can only think that Senators are also getting an earful from voters.

The problem is that they are not listening.
