CALLING ALL CHURCH MEMBERS, CALLING ALL PASTORS

The First Amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

This Sunday, September 26, 2010 is PULPIT FREEDOM SUNDAY.

FAITHFUL CHURCH MEMBERS: Invite and encourage your pastor to exercise his/her right to speak out on the issues of the day. With elections approaching we should expect pastors to examine the principles, values and intentions of candidates and evaluate them in the light of Holy Scripture. Consider their counsel and advice on the issues and candidates as you prepare to vote on November 2nd.

PASTORS: Do not fail to speak out for righteousness on the issues of the day. Study the policies and statements of candidates for office and ballot issues and questions that will be decided. Reconcile them with Holy Scripture and remind your members to vote, and to vote for those candidates and for those issues that are in accordance with the Word of God.

I pray that the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with us all.

GURU means the preacher who removes ignorance – darkness by emitting knowledge – light. The field of the context is important here. If you are ignorant of mathematics, a teacher may remove your ignorance about mathematics by teaching mathematics. Such a teacher cannot be called as Guru. Guru is the preacher who diverts you towards God by removing your ignorance about God. This is the most important field for any human being because it is the basis of every aspect of life here as well as there after death. The final knowledge of God is to know that you are always ignorant of God, because God is unimaginable or ever unknown.

    Ed,
Obviously you have a lot of work to do before you are considered a “Christian ” in God’s eyes. Your brand of “faith” is not condoned at all in any of the holy scriptures, in fact your words and actions are those of an insecure man without true faith in God.

    Ed,
You have a very predictable and singular view of our world. Here are a few alternative thoughts for you to consider.

” There are two worlds, one secular and one religious. Most of us feel that we have a foot in both. Two different languages are being spoken, and no translation encompasses both. For centuries the Catholic Church has considered a fetus sacred from the moment of conception. Fundamentalists have adopted that position, but did not invent it. Jesus does not mention abortion, or whether the soul enters an infant with it’s first breath, as his fellow Jews believe. In the total disconnect between secular and religious language, Jesus doesn’t help at all.
Because there is more than one Jesus, the one who strictly obeys the laws of Moses isn’t the one who forgives and shows tolerance. Nor is he the Jesus who rebukes the Pharisees for obeying the letter of the law and ignoring it’s spirit. That Jesus is being ignored by fundamentalists. If they prefer the “strict” Jesus, than what about his absolute injunction against divorce? There is also the mystical Jesus, who saw the material world as an illusion and explicitly denied he had come to settle wordly affairs.
When he told Pilate that his kingdom was not on earth, Jesus made a blanket statement. By no means does Jesus provide support for the anti-abortion cause, unless we accept Church doctrine as speaking for Him.”

That’s just some food for thought Ed. I am in no way trying to remove you from the perceived comfort of your own personal religious convictions. Or should I say those of your church.

I do have a predictable and singular view of God’s world. You fool, this world is neither yours or mine. It is God’s world. Your pronouncements try to lead a person to believe that you are learned. But you merely spew the evil of the Deceiver. You use words like “abortion” as though it is acceptable to God that you would condone the murder of the unborn. You cleverly try to set yourself before God’s children as a believer but believe only in your Deceiver who plays you like a cheap guitar. The good news is that it’s not too late for you yet. I will pray that you will repent before the Lord God calls you from this earth or He comes for His church.

Rabbis, Priests, Ministers, Imams, and all men of the cloth,

Follow the word of God, do not mix politics, judgments and worship. Keep them separate. It is God’s will. Do His work through kindness and acts of love bestowed upon your fellow man. Forsake the political world, and worship in private, as the holy scriptures command.

There is no political world, no private world. There is the world created by God. It is God’s world I live in by His grace. The pastors will heed the Word of God to lead His flock. No quarter will be granted to those who would remain silent in the face of evil in this world. How will we answer to Jesus if we remain silent from the pulpit as children are murdered daily by abortionists? Shall a pastor say to the Lord Jesus that he didn’t speak out against this abomination because that was the “political world?” There is only God’s world and he demands righteousness.
