Iowa Could Produce A Christmas Miracle

The latest, latest, latest poll seems to be the one that shows Romney leading in Iowa, with Ron Paul second and Gingrich third.

The polls are up and down to the point we wonder if they really mean anything.  One thing that has stayed relatively consistent is that about half of all Iowa voters remain undecided.

One scenario that has been overlooked could involve a Christmas miracle, but it is Christmas isn’t it?

Michele Bachmann won the Iowa straw poll.  Could it be that within the 50% of voters who are undecided, is hidden secret support for Bachmann?  They certainly supported her once.  She hasn’t had any major “falling out” with voters.  There have just been others who have managed to garner national attention and lure voters to their camp… temporarily.  Perry stole the spotlight as the new girl at the dance, but when the lights came on, the blemishes became visible.  Gingrich was the next new date, but his makeup began to run under the heat of the bright lights.  Romney… well, Romney is the cheerleader who looks much better when there are no other cheer leaders.

Bachmann is working hard in Iowa.  She must know that a strong showing there is critical to her ability to stay viable as a candidate.  It would seem that if she doesn’t show in the top three that her prospects are bleak.

But the undecided 50% could hold the key to a christmas miracle for Bachmann.  If they return to their first love, she could once again be the darling of the dance.  Conservative Christians could rally once again to support the candidate who truly is the champion of their cause.  Many of us around the country are praying with her for that Christmas miracle!
