Are Hunters Funding ObamaCare?

They might be, in South Dakota!

Hunters, campers and fishermen will be paying more next year… maybe as much as $2 million dollars more.

The South Dakota Game Fish and Parks just raised fees, beginning next year.

Officials said they need the extra cash for health care costs and salary increases.

Salary increase in this economic era might be something that should have some web.ad08chevymore debate.  Have YOU had a salary increase lately?  Do you expect one next year?  If not, you probably don’t work for the government.

That issue aside, increases in health care costs created by ObamaCare are being passed along to outdoorsmen.  The GF&P isn’t the only one feeling the crunch of increasing health care costs.  One businessman told me his health care costs for employees will increase by 30% next year.

Taxpayers will not only enjoy increases in their own health care costs, they will have the added bonus of paying higher fees and costs when they enjoy the great outdoors or shop at local businesses.  Businesses and agencies will simply pass these extra costs along to the consumer, adding further pain to family budgets.  That leaves the family holding the bag, since there is no one else to “pass it on” to.  Families will be forced to cut their budgets.  There isn’t any other choice.

When outdoorsmen hit the field next year, extra fees ($2 million dollars worth) will be another cost to their adventure!

Hunters…. don’t forget to pack some extra cash for ObamaCare!
