While America slept, Republicans and Democrats have been stacking up huge debt.
This morning when you wake, the National debt is about to soar past $18 trillion dollars. But that’s not the worst of it. Unfunded liabilities add more than another $ 115 Trillion dollars. That makes the total debt nearly $ 140 Trillion dollars.
The unfunded liabilities alone now total more than our national assets. Total assets for small business, corporations and households total about $ 2 Trillion LESS than our liabilities. That means if the government confiscated ALL of our personal and business assets to cover the bill, we would still be in the red.
If you are a taxpayer, your bill is now over a million dollars….
$ 1,140,000.00.
The blame game has enabled them to continue the irresponsibility of overspending while pointing their finger at the “other party”. The debt has continued to grow, regardless of which party controls the White House or Congress. Don’t expect that to change any time soon. Watch the debt continue to grow.
