Winston Churchill described the Republican party.
He was talking about America in general, but without knowing it, he described the Republican party of today when he said,
“You can always count on Americans to do the right thing – after they’ve tried everything else.”
Unfortunately, the clock is ticking while Republican leaders continue to engineer circumstances favorable for their own re-election rather than doing the right thing for America. The misbehavior of Republican leaders in forsaking their own platform of 
principle has wasted valuable time. Political analysts are beginning to ask, “Have we moved beyond the point of no return?” It’s a reasonable question. At the very least, political self-preservation has placed America in a dangerous position. Our very survival and freedom are in jeopardy. There may not be TIME for Republican politicians to ‘try everything else’ before returning to a platform of principle.
Backroom deals and compromise have not served us well. Few people on the street would tell you they think all is well. They will confirm that our freedoms are being taken, government spending is out of control, taxes are to high and our nation is in peril.
The end may not be near, but many people can see it from here.
Right now is the time to begin doing the right thing… again.
