In an old dramatic monologue, The Soliloquy of a Spanish Cloister” by Robert Browning, a “righteous” monk persistently plots to trip up an unsuspecting and virtuous colleague because of his incredibly envy and jealousy…reminds us that behind righteousness we will often find self-righteousness and corruption…

…and Lars, I look forward to the exposure of every one of those corrupt individuals.

Can you send me the documentation of the Bosworth legal team’s requests for plea agreements?

      No

Then what substantiation is there for the claim that the defendant offered plea agreements?

Corey, I have personally spoken with an attorney intimately familiar with this case who has confirmed my information.

“an attorney intimately familiar”—not good enough. To accept a claim of this importance to your argument that the state is treating the defendant unfairly and denying her the consideration it would give similar defendants, you need a direct witness to put his/her name to this claim in public. Attorney Van Norman, Attorney Hanna, Bosworth herself—did the plea happen? Show us the dated document.

Cory, I am sure this will shock you, but my objective is not to satisfy your need for “proof”. 🙂 I am not going to name my source. If you can’t accept the fact that Jackley refused plea bargains, I will just have to find a way to live with myself 🙂

It’s not just my need for proof. It’s honest journalism’s need. Truth rests on proof, not on a specious relativism that puts quote marks around that important word and lets us all say and believe whatever suits our purposes of the moment. No proof, no story, and no grounds for these assertions.

you say that so eloquently… actually Cory is the truth is the truth whether I choose to prove it or not. sorry but I am NOT revealing my source
your option is to believe it or reject it

There’s a story about a community that tried to convict a plumber with jail time for not pulling a permit to install a water heater. But he fought back. Turns out he did break the law…but out of a town of 10,000, only 2 water heater permits had ever been pulled. Those accusing him were deemed to have illegally prosecuted him by violating his 14 amendment right of “Procedural Equal Protection”. That is when one is a victim of unequal application of the law…Jackley’s MO
