What About The National Debt?

Senators Mike Rounds and John Thune worked with Democrats to  REMOVE the limit on our national debt.

Image result for too much debt

The BAD “Budget Deal” (which also stole $150 Billion dollars from Social Security) was passed with the assistance of Republicans (?) like Senators Thune and Rounds.  That “deal” didn’t RAISE the debt limit, it REMOVED it!

The media seems to be mostly silent on the issue of our national debt.  The Republican debate in the Presidential primary is also strangely silent.  It just doesn’t seem to be on the radar.  Senator Rand Paul is one candidate who talks about the national debt, but it doesn’t get much attention.

Someone is going to have to PAY this monumental, growing debt.

On the way to $ 20 Trillion, the share owed by each taxpayer is over $155,000.  But that isn’t the biggest number.  The total unfunded liability of nearly $100 TRILLION dollars is over $830,000 per taxpayer (on its way to $1 million dollars per taxpayer).

Shouldn’t we insist on electing fiscal conservatives?

Shouldn’t we be DOING something to reduce the national debt?

Shouldn’t we be talking about it?
