It is just new paint on an old vehicle.

The idea of sending money to the States sounds good on the face.  Look deeper and what you will see is the Federal government collecting Billions… maybe Trillions… of tax dollars and dispensing it to States.  It is still a huge government program funded by tax dollars.

A better choice would be to leave the dollars in the pockets of taxpayers, and remove regulations to allow the free market to work.  People can make better choices for their own health care.

There is always plenty of room for a government program to help those who need help.  It doesn’t have to be a program that taxes and controls everyone.

Republicans in Congress are more focused on the appearance that they are doing something than in actually getting something done.  We were promised REPEAL.  Republicans were not given a mandate so they could put lipstick and makeup on ObamaCare.  What they are doing (and more importantly NOT doing) reveals who they are at their core.  It doesn’t give me huge confidence that they will actually keep their promises.

Or, that they ever intended to.
