We Are Missing Something

Image result for antidepressantsAll the shooters in the crazy shooter incidents that I can remember were having homicidal and suicidal thoughts after taking FDA approved anti-depressants.

The shooter at the school in Connecticut; the shooter at the mall in Oregon; the shooter at the night club in Orlando; the shooter who shot the Member of Congress from Tucson; the shooter at the movie theater in Colorado; the shooters at the Colombine school; and I think the guy who shot the congressmen at the baseball field.

I notice this because my grandfather was murdered by someone who was taking FDA approved anti-depressants.  I was the only grandchild who saw and smelled the scene of my grandfather’s death.  I know what kind of pain this sort of thing causes.  I don’t have to imagine it.  I know it.

Millions of people in our country have guns and don’t ever think of killing other people.  I believe that our government has failed us by not insisting that there be NO killing wish side effects in any drug marketed in the U.S.  I believe that the use of these dangerous drugs is the direct and proximate cause of these senseless murders.  It is our own government and the drug industry that are at fault.
