World-Renowned Physicist Goes To Hell

Steven Hawking has entered into his eternal reward.

He died this week.  Unless he experienced a conversion in the last minutes/hours of his life, his final destiny is in the company of those who are now weeping and gnashing their teeth for eternity (Luke 13:28).

Hawking was a brilliant man who denied the existence of a Creator and a Savior.  He once proclaimed, “I regard the brain as a computer which will stop working when its components fail. There is no heaven or afterlife for broken down computers; that is a fairy story for people afraid of the dark.”

Despite his amazing intellect, Hawking got one profound truth exactly wrong. (John 3:18)

My personal hope is that Hawking followed the example of the thief on the cross next to Jesus, who found salvation at his death.  Absent that, Hawking discovered all too late that he was horribly wrong.  There is, indeed a Heaven and an afterlife.

Eternity in Heaven is reserved for those who accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior during this life.  Eternity in Hell is reserved for those who don’t.

Is that harsh?  Yes.  Is it a pleasant thought that someone has entered the domain of Hell, from which there is no return? No.

Is it true?  Yes.
