They appear to be about the only ones who aren’t getting Medicare.

A new Medicare card was recently sent to recipients (in English).  It was also in Spanish.  That should be helpful for all of our Mexican friends.  What may be even more surprising is the additional two pages titled “Help in other languages”.  I will list them in alphabetical order.

The notice informs recipients that they have the right to an interpreter in their language, at no cost.  That would mean that our government employs interpreters for each of these language groups.

Does all of this leave you wondering just who the American taxpayers are providing medical care for?  Me too.

If you are an illegal immigrant, you should not be entitled to ANY taxpayer funded benefits.  If you are a legal immigrant, maybe you should learn to speak English.  That doesn’t seem like to much to ask.

In case you were worried that Mongolians were being discriminated against, you can put your mind at ease.  Their official language is Khalkha Mongolia.  It is one of the languages commonly used in China, so the Chinese interpreter can probably help.  It’s nice to know we haven’t forgotten to include them, after all.

If Congress ever wants to get serious about spending cuts, maybe they should look at who is getting Medicare (and many other) benefits.
