The Fate Of The State Is In Your Hands

Not only the state, but the nation!

We may disagree on many things, but one truth is not subject to compromise.  Ronald Reagan knew it well.. It’s why, during his oath of office (both terms) he placed his hand on the Bible at 11 Chronicles 7:14.

It reads:

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

This weekend, you can participate in an event that will CHANGE South Dakota!  I hope you’ll join us!

Actually, according to the DOH 2009 statistics, 652 SD babies were aborted, compared to 11,930 live births. That is a total of 12582 pregnancies, with approximately 5% of which ended in abortion. That’s 1 in 20, not 1 in 3. I seriously doubt that any year since has jumped from 1 in 20 to 1 in 3, as the state currently has an abortion rate of less than 5 per capita, making it one of the top ten states in lowest rate of abortion. Exactly what statistics are you using?

I understand your statistics. They are the commonly used ones by Planned Parenthood and other abortion advocates. The national Department of Health statistics show 500 abortions per every 100,000 people. South Dakota has about 824,000 population, which is over 4,000 abortions. Your statistics do not consider two important factors. 1. UNDER reported abortions by the Rapid City Regional Hospital and Dr. Boener, other physicialns who perform “medical related” abortions around the state and the Planned Parenthood clinic. 2. MANY women choose to leave the state to abort their children. Billings, Denver and Minneapolis are a few of the locations they choose.
You are correct about one thing… the rate has not jumped… it has simply never been acurately reported.
