I just finished reading an incredible novel that everyone watching needs to read. Jonathan Cahn’s book The Harbinger has been on the New York Times best seller list longer than any other book in the top 20 and has sold over a million copies. While the book itself is fiction it contains many truths that America needs to hear in the 21st century.

Now, I want you to read the book and discover those truths for yourself as I did, so I’ll try not to spoil it for you. Let’s just say that The Harbinger connects the dots between 9/11 and events of the years since with a 26-hundred year old prophecy from the Old Testament. And there are some absolutely uncanny connections.

But what most got my attention was the fact that The Harbinger echoes what I and many others have been saying since 9/11…that September 11th, 2001 was intended by God as a warning that America needs to return to God or face divine judgment. If you’ve been following these reports for any length of time you know that in my book returning means a revival in the church and a nationwide spiritual awakening in which thousands…perhaps even millions will be converted to Christ.

One of the pivotal verses in The Harbinger is 2 Chronicles 7:14 which is a sort of recipe for revival and the resulting national healing: If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. Over the next few weeks on Revival Report I’ll be taking an in-depth look at this important verse so that you and I might help our nation avoid the calamity of divine judgment and claim the promise that God will heal our land.
