Right To Privacy Eliminated

If supporters of ObamaCare have their way, you have “no reasonable expectation of privacy”.

When Nancy Pelosi made the now-infamous statement “We have to pass the bill so we can find out what is in it”, she was in strong support of ObamaCare.

Now that the bill has passed, those who are responsible for implementing it on a state-by-state level are suggesting they do NOT support it.  In South Dakota, that would include former Governor/now US Senate candidate Mike Rounds and current Governor Dennis Daugaard.

If we were to have asked either of them, perhaps they would have said, “We have to IMPLEMENT the bill to find out what is in it”.

Rounds and Daugaard have invested themselves in  laying the foundational development for ObamaCare in South Dakota.  You may know that South Dakota has an ObamaCare health exchange which allows the state to “co-operate” with the federal government.

Now that the implementation phase is completed, we are, indeed, finding out what is in the bill.  Even though it is hidden in the “fine print”, anyone who signs up for ObamaCare will have no right to privacy regarding any of their personal information.  Shouldn’t SOMEONE have been saying “no” to government-run health care?

If you have any doubts about the removal of your privacy, this brief video of Congressional testimony should help clear it up for you.

You might want to ask Rounds and Daugaard why they have web.ad08chevysupported ObamaCare.  It would also be interesting to hear their explanations on why they worked hard to KILL every effort in the state Legislature to STOP ObamaCare in South Dakota.  It would also be interesting to ask Rounds and Daugaard to make public their discussions about SB 38 and SB 39, (2011 Session) both of which were Governor-sponsored bills laying the groundwork for ObamaCare in South Dakota.

Section 21 of SB 38:

record keeping

This is a very long bill with broad authority granted to government.  Regarding keeping of records (your records), the state government has the authority to “promulgate rules”.  That language is classic, meaning the bill is already passed before we “find out what is in it”.

Yes, you could ask Governors Rounds and Daugaard the questions, but don’t expect a straight answer any time soon.  Their conversations are still “private”.
