God’s Bowls – Your Tears

God never misses the prayers of anyone.

In Revelation 5:8 (ESV) it says, ‘And when he had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each holding a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.’ From this passage, you will notice that there are twenty four bowls that contain the prayers of the saints. And, we know what God empties out these bowls on the earth, which become bowls of wrath in Revelation Chapter 16. These bowls represent the judgment of God on the earth at some point in earth’s future. However, they also represent the fact that God keeps hold of every one of our prayers. The fact that these bowls will be poured out upon the earth in the future is significant. They new addemonstrates that the prayers we send up to God now, will be poured out in answer to our circumstances at some point in our future.

No matter what you face at the moment, and no matter what your circumstances are, God never misses your tears, and he never misses your prayers. Ever prayer that we make, ascends like incense up to the throne of God. And, it is witnessed by the twenty four elders and the host of heaven. None of our prayers are forgotten or ignored. This is because they are a public matter before God and the host of heaven, who guard each of our prayers. And those prayers, which are private on earth, but public in heaven, are never used to judge us. They are carefully collected and kept before the God of all heaven and earth. And they come before the presence of God in Jesus Name, and through no other way. So, if you think that your prayers have not reached their destination, you are wrong. Each prayer that belongs to God’s children is precious in his sight, and none are missed.

The answer to your prayers may not come straight away. This does not mean that God has ignored them. On the contrary! In Revelation Chapter 16, a time will come when God will activate the answer to those prayers, and you will see the results of those answers in your future. So, if you have felt like giving up praying to God, just consider Revelation 5:8. Recognise exactly where your prayers have gone, who has seen them, and the fact that one day your answer will come. Do not become faint hearted, or discouraged because the answer to your prayer is late. God has planned the exact day that he is going to answer you.

Your prayers are never a waste of time, so don’t you forget that!
