The foregoing quote, from the Washington Times, agrees with what Representative Chaffetz claimed in the interview on which I just reported (http://www.rightsidesd.com/?p=19422). It still leaves me incredulous. The internet, virtually every Demo…crat, the President, and most news sources have been incessantly pilloring the Republicans and Boehner for failure to vote on a bill for which they could not vote? WHERE have the investigative reporters been???? If the “failure to send the bill to the House” assertion is true, are the Republicans completely incapable of defending themselves in the face of what would be incredible distortions of the truth? Do they even know what happened? Are the news media capable of doing something other than just spreading talking points? The President has repeatedly blamed the House Republicans for failure to act on the bill and used their failure to vote as a pretext for issuing his executive orders. This IS a big deal and we need to know with absolute certainty whether Chaffetz and the Washington Times are correct.
