Attacks Against Christian Leaders

Franklin Graham, John Hagee and Creflo Dollar have made news lately.

John Hagee is being accused of “stealing” the teachings on the four blood moons.

Franklin Graham has been publicly “rebuked” for sinning against the brethren.

Creflo Dollar has been assailed for asking supporters to help buy a new jet for the ministry.

Someone should tell the Hagee detractors that divine revelation isn’t the “property” longhorn internet adof any mortal.  Pastor John Hagee is a powerful minister of the Gospel, whose credibility and credentials are beyond question.

Franklin Graham has been a voice for truth that is much needed in a nation so inclined to reject it.  Graham, above any other Christian leader is bold enough to speak the truth irrespective of the personal consequences.  I’ll stand with Franklin Graham any day on any issue.

Creflo Dollar challenges people and calls them to stretch their faith.  His theology dares to suppose that their isn’t a shortage in the Kingdom of God, and that when someone “gains” it does NOT mean that someone else looses.

Undoubtedly, these men are imperfect mortals.  It is certainly possible for them to fall, fail or miss the mark.  Even so, they ARE genuine men of God.  They aren’t the only Christian leaders who are being or have been attacked.  They just happen to be taking some fire of late.  One thing that is obvious to me is that these are men who are not willing to compromise the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  That subjects them to attacks… even from other “Christians”.

Those who choose to attack or malign these men would do well to focus their energy on more productive endeavors.

Thank God for Hagee, Graham and Dollar!
