Thune, Rounds and Noem Get Another Chance

The US House will vote next week on late term abortions.

Earlier this year, the Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act was set aside and not brought to a vote.  Now we hear from House Majority Leader McCarthy that the House will vote on a bill next week dealing with abortions after 20 weeks (5 months).

Senators Thune and Rounds, and Rep Noem have another opportunity to get out in front on this issue.  All three of them could begin by issuing statements of support for alonghorn internet ad ban on late term abortions.  If it is different than the Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, I haven’t seen the bill yet.  If it is a good one, they should begin voicing their support immediately.  If it is a bad bill, they should challenge their colleagues and tell them how to fix it.

Silence on this issue is not an option.

I recently chastised our Congressional delegation for what many people view as their failure on this issue.  This is yet another chance for them.  Pro lifers are watching, waiting, listening.

Please don’t disappoint us again.
