Not Voting Is A Principled Position

Establishment Republicans are at it again.

They are making the argument that Conservatives have to set aside their convictions on social issues in order to “win”.

They still don’t get it.  Even after losing several Presidential elections by choosing candidates who were mushy on social issues, they are clinging to their flawed theory.

Conservatives and Christians will not give the Republican establishment a pass in this election.  One third or more of Republican voters are ready to abandon the party.  Why?  Simply because party leaders have abandoned the principles of morality and fiscal responsibility.  Voters may give them some wiggle room on fiscal matters, but when it comes to Adsocial issues there isn’t room for compromise.

The assertion that Republicans can’t win if Conservative Christians don’t vote, is an accurate one.  When this voting block stays home, Republicans lose.  “We will be better off with a flawed Republican than a Democrat” doesn’t win the argument with principled voters.  If Republicans give voters a candidate who isn’t strong on social issues, it will cost them the White House.

How can Conservative Christians justify NOT voting?  If neither of the two choices on the ballot represent their moral convictions on social issues, there is only one PRINCIPLED choice…. not voting for either candidate.  If supporting a candidate ensures the continued killing of unborn children, the destruction of the institution of marriage and the advancement of unrighteousness, how can they do anything else?  There is a growing consensus that we can not solve our economic and other problems until we end abortion on demand and return to morality.  How can God help and bless a nation that thumbs its nose at Him?  Voting for an immoral candidate is nothing more than being complicit in the ultimate destruction of America.

Not voting could be the only principled decision.
