What’s the point?

Sensational headlines get more attention than factual headlines.

If there is a scandal brewing, the media loves it because it boosts their readership… even if it is a scandal they have manufactured.

When people quit paying to see movies that are immoral and vulgar, Hollywood will quit producing them.  Don’t hold your breath, though.  American society has become obsessed with violence, sex and self indulgence.  The destruction of the sanctity of marriage and the killing of unborn children are two landmark indications of just how sick we have become.

Our country has fallen far from the moral and ethical standards that made us a great nation.  The leaders we have are a reflection of who we have become.  The only hope is a return to the God of our fathers.  Then, and only then, will we begin to solve the monumental problems we have created.

Until then, we should expect more of the same.
