When I was in the military, there were a lot of good generals….and a lot of political brown-nosers among the brass who were more interested in being invited to the right dinner parties than in what was best for this nation’s defense.
Those types–who are Masters of CYA–tend to gravitate to civilian leaders who like to put a finger to the wind and play it “safe.” You know, the kind (like Jeb Bush) who think violating our nation’s borders and immigration laws is “an act of love.”
So color me “unimpressed.”
