America is getting it wrong.

In the name of political correctness and tolerance, the clear moral direction given by God has been pushed aside.

The results have been devastating.  We have become a nation which is largely, “lovers of ourselves more than lovers of God.”  Proverbs 14:12 warns us,” There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.”

It is easy to find people who want to defend behavior that God has called sin.  They are quick to tell us “You can’t legislate morality”.  The truth is, that we have spent the last decade legislating immorality.  It isn’t difficult to see how poorly this has served our nation.

The way out is not more of the same.  Returning to Judeo-Christian principles of morality is the only solution.  We are not smart enough to solve our political and economical problems without God’s help.  That should be evident to anyone who is willing to objectively examine the condition of our nation and how we came to this place.  That won’t happen if we continue to follow the direction of those who do not have a personal relationship with the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, through his Son, Jesus Christ.  Those who do not know, and do not love God can not possibly lead us out of the difficulties we face.  It will require a leader whose first allegiance is to almighty God, and whose life objective is to follow His direction in all things.  Any leader, regardless of how charismatic and politically talented, will continue to lead America to destruction if they do not know and serve God.

We will either be a great nation that serves God, or a failed nation that rejected Him.
