Barack Obama in his 2nd State of the Union address closed a rather lacklustre performance long on the effort to conjure a “vision” for the future and short on specifics, with “we do big things”.
On his watch we certainly have………….a big new healthcare bureaucracy and a big crushing burden of debt.
The President didn’t get the message of November. Where are the spending cuts? Where is a “vision” for the growth of real jobs for the middle class?
Bringing the CEO’s of major multi-national corporations to Washington to talk about job growth is not the answer. These are the same corporations that EXPORT jobs.
Mr. President, we do not need high-speed trains. We need high-speed cuts in spending. We need real reduction in taxes and spending and the growth and obtrusiveness of big government and a business-friendly tax policy to stimulate the real job creation which comes from the small businesses and entrepreneurs.
