I Have A Dream

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. spoke to the conscience of America.

The very deep wounds of racial prejudice have left a mark on our country.  Some have done much to heal those wounds.  Few have had the positive impact of Dr. King to bring love, peace and harmony.

He was a preacher, not a politician.  Politicians had failed.  They continue their tradition of failure today, on many significant issues.  Defense of unborn children is the most striking area of political failure.  Politicians had failed for decades to correct the injustice of racial prejudice.  It took a preacher to turn the nation.  Today’s problems won’t be solved by politicians.  It will take a preacher.

Preachers: God is calling you to lead America.

I agree with you so much. We have to make it right cause Lord knows our politicians are as shady as the shade of a tree. Thanks to Dr king for his great advice that we shall overcome someday. We have come a long way but have a long way to go.
