Was It Murder?

Did OUR government execute Lavoy Finicum?

If you haven’t seen the video from INSIDE the Finicum vehicle, you may find it very disturbing.

As you watch this video, ask yourself this question, “Why would they not simply let Finicum meet with the Sheriff?”  There were MANY scenarios that could have produced different results.  Allowing him to meet the Sheriff and turn himself in could have produced a non-violent end to this ordeal.  If law enforcement was fearful of violence or some kind, they could easily have arranged for the Sherrif to meet Finicum along the road, away from any populated area.  Why, instead, did they set up the ambush and kill him along the roadside, after shooting into the vehicle which was occupied by several other people?

You may not agree with actions of Finnicum and others.  You might see them as radicals.  You could be right.

Still, when you see what BLM officials are doing to intentionally destroy property and endanger lives, you might comprehend how it could push someone over the edge.

At the very least, the killing of Finnicum was not necessary.  At the worst, it was a murder orchestrated by government and carried out by law enforcement officials.

This was not a “protect and serve” action.

As a former Regular Army Infantry NCO, I questioned the set up of this “traffic stop” from the beginning. They set this up on a rural road with fairly normal speed limits, shortly after the road bends. The driver had a fairly short response time to stop, and in my opinion, that would generate an opportunity for law enforcement to engage the vehicle with small arms fire, because it was forcing a split second decision. If his truck were to continue into the roadblock, they law enforcement personnel would have to interpret the oncoming vehicle to be a threat. It really appears to me to be more of an ambush, than a traffic stop. With the release a couple of days ago of the cell phone video, that opinion is heavily reinforced. I don’t really approve of the actions at the refuge, and I don’t think it was good for the patriot movement. However, I do have some serious questions about this particular action by law enforcement. I spent a good many years on active duty with outstanding light infantry units, and if I wanted to ambush somebody, this is a pretty decent set up to do that (except we wouldn’t be in the road, we’d just use that stretch as a kill zone, and maybe have a tree down or something). Of course, if I were in that situation, it would be pre-determined that I would be engaging with claymores, machineguns and small arms. Not too sure that this is an ideal set up for a traffic stop by law enforcement. The whole situation stinks on all sides, all the way around.
