South Dakota grassroots Republicans have an opportunity.

Greetings Fellow Republicans,

 Please block your calendars for our SD GOP State Convention this June in Aberdeen! You will be receiving additional emails as the Convention draws near, but please take a look at the information below to get registered and learn more. Don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions.

 Date: June 23rd and 24th 24th and 25th (corrected dates)

 Location: Aberdeen, SD. Best Western Ramkota Convention Center

 Cost: $65 for Convention Passes, including meals

 If you are not a Delegate to the 2016 SD GOP State Convention, but would like to be,

there will be an option for GOP County Party’s ‘s to appoint Delegates to the open seats in their counties. (emphasis added)

We will be working on the details with County Chairs in the coming weeks. If you are interested, please email your County Chair to be put on their list.

This is an opportunity with two possibilities.

Some view this as an attempt by the establishment GOP operatives can “stack the deck”, and appoint delegates to control the agenda.  Grassroots conservatives might see this as an opportunity to step forward to fill empty positions.  The option for County Chairs to APPOINT delegates gives the establishment an advantage, but if conservatives will rally there is still time to take action.
