The time for bashing other Presidential candidates is over.
Donald Trump led Presidential politics to a new low in his quest to become the nominee. It is fair to say his personal attacks on the other candidates crossed every line of decency.
Trump and his supporters should put an end to that effective immediately.
If Trump has any hope of uniting a Republican party that is seriously fractured, he and his supporters should stop trashing candidates who have suspended their campaigns. Seriously.
I happen to be one of those who still has some reservations about a Trump Presidency. So help me… A good place to start might be to stop the attacks on the candidate I supported.
You won’t win me over by slandering other candidates.

With a liberal record like Trump’s, the odds are against ever winning me over. But I agree: slandering candidates who were far better won’t help the matter.
I hear what you are saying Gordon and agree. As one who saw Trump not as the great white savior but the guy who would tell it like it is, I saw his rise coming. I didn’t always agree with him on his approach, his pompous comments or language but saw why he was gaining supporters. Those of us, and I consider myself in that category, who have been disenfranchised by the Republican Elite, as hard as I tried to be like them, just didn’t’ get any traction. So, the people who don’t believe the standard stuff BOTH parties are pedaling are fed up. They don’t believe any of it anymore from anyone. Is Trump the right guy? Still not sure but never doubted that he was saying exactly what a lot of common ordinary folks have been saying and thinking for a long time who just didn’t have the guts to say it or the platform to make it make any difference. So now the Elites are AGAIN trying to find a 3rd party. That should make EVERYONE wonder just what is so bad that they have to keep the lid on that they are willing to go to these lengths. Their cushy jobs/salaries/retirements/connections or something more cynical?
