2016 Voting Guide

Which candidate should you support?

Image result for bad choices

Do you, like me, find the major Presidential candidates unacceptable?  I don’t like my choices.

Maybe there is a way to make the RIGHT decision when all the choices seem to be wrong.  David Barton is a well known Christian and historian.  He gave a presentation to the Sojourn Church in Texas that is well worth your time, if you… like me… are struggling with your political choices in 2016.

Watch the abbreviated presentation HERE

If you are willing to invest the time, the full presentation is well worth the investment:

I found this presentation to be very interesting and helpful.  It applies to elections at every level.

Maybe Senator Ted Cruz had it right when he advised America to “Vote their conscience”.

Before you make your decision, see 2016 Voting Guide, Part Two.

I’ve loved and respected David Barton for years, but I’m afraid he’s being very myopic and tunnel-visioned here. The judiciary is without a doubt critical (far more critical than it should be, given that we have allowed the judiciary to manufacture legislative powers), but the character of the nation is still (right or wrong) largely found in and through the presidency. What’s more, all the evidence indicates Donald Trump is utterly unreliable even on the issue of judges. His famed list of judges already contains two or three who are hostile to life and religious liberty. And consider that some of the worst of Supreme Court justices were appointed by some of our best presidents (e.g. Ronald Reagan).

This just isn’t enough to compel me to vote for a complete and total scumbag Democrat who has an “R” after his name.

The link I’m sharing below has helped clarify things for me. I was already coming to these conclusions over the course of the past 7 years or so, and this presentation put things in full focus for me.

If you don’t have time to take in all five videos (try to get to them sooner or later), you can cut to the chase with video 4. It articulates better than anything why I can no longer vote for crappy representation just because it has an “R” after its name.
