Because I Said So…

Barack Obama insists we are better off.

At his press conference yesterday, the President insisted that “America is more respected around the world and more prosperous” than when he took office.

One might wonder what universe he lives in.

Some reports on REAL unemployment are as high as 24%.

Job creation isn’t keeping up with population growth.

The median household income is up (?) $616.00 compared to 1999.  Given the shrinking buying power of the dollar, that can hardly be called “more prosperous”.

When it comes to being “More respected”, one need only to look at Russia and China to get a pulse of world respect for America.  It has been significantly diminished over the last eight years.

The President made the claim that his administration has DECREASED the deficit.  I could hardly believe my ears, that he would make such an outlandish claim.  The national debt today is $20 Trillion dollars.  When Obama took office, it was about half that much.  By any objective measurement, Obama has added to America’s burden of debt.

The Democrats have been wailing about “Fake News”.  They insist something must be done.

Maybe they should start in the White House.
