Will Republicans EVER De-fund Planned Parenthood?

Pardon my cynicism…

Image result for funding abortion

Congress just passed, and the President signed another (heavy sigh) increase to the debt ceiling that allows them to spend more taxpayer dollars.  More, actually, than they are even receiving.

The current national debt is growing ever closer to $ 20 Trillion Dollars.

The President called this a “clear win for the American people”.  Republican speaker of the House, Paul Ryan said, “This is what winning looks like”.  Really??  If this is winning…  ??!!!

The debt ceiling increase would be bad enough, but this “winning” deal continues to fund the nation’s largest provider of abortions, killing between 300,000 and 400,000 unborn children each year.  This “winning” piece of spending legislation insures that your tax dollars will continue to help pay for these abortions.

In South Dakota, you can thank your two Republican Senators, John Thune and Mike Rounds, who voted for this “winning” legislation.  Those unborn children whose lives continue to be snuffed out by Planned Parenthood will not be able to send a thank you note.

Neither will I.

No it isn’t winning. What ever happened to living within our means? Debt is irresponsible. Being in debt makes us weak and vulnerable. Of course that was the plan wasn’t it?

They just need to have control of the House, which controls the purse strings. Oh wait; they’ve had that for seven years.

They just need to have control of the Senate. Oh wait; they’ve had that for over two years.

They just need to have the White House. Oh wait; they’ve had that for over three months.

Maybe these “Republicans” just don’t believe in the documented, platform-approved Republican value of protecting innocent human life.
