What Pastors Aren’t Talking About

Millions of Americans go to church every Sunday.

But you might be surprised about what they are NOT hearing from the pulpit.

Here is what 90% of America’s Pastors are not talking to their congregations about:

  • Abortion

  • The radical homosexual movement

  • Government

  • Gun control

  • Israel

  • The Middle East

That’s what Pastor George Gallups has discovered in his research.

You may be fortunate enough to have a Pastor who speaks to these issues from a moral, Biblical perspective.  If he does, you should thank him.

If he doesn’t, you should find another church.

    Hi,

That’s from a survey of conservative, evangelical pastors. I guess lots of non-conservative, non-evangelical pastors have preached about gun violence, and not so many about gun control.

It’s Carl Gallups. George Gallup was the pollster.

You go to church to be uplifted and inspired, not to be whipped into right-wing hysteria.

I love Bible teaching churches. If a Pastor is teaching from the Bible, he/she does not have to give their opinions concerning current events. They are teaching God’s opinions on current events. My favorite Pastor always said, people don’t need to be told how they are sinning. God says people already know. People need to be told how to stop. My favorite Pastor never pointed out how people sin, he simply opened his Bible and read the word and explained how to put it to work in my life. When I was a new Christian, the conviction of the Word would anger me for a week, but I always came back for more because it was the truth my spirit was hungry for. The truth transformed me. He rarely said a word about current events. If you are teaching the Word, the events are covered. There isn’t anything new going on. Satan is not creative. It’s all been done before.
