“I never met a man I didn’t like”.

Will Rogers died a few years before I was born, but I have always been intrigued by his wit and humor.  Among his many quotes, these are a few that might amuse you.

“Never miss a good chance to shut up.”

“Even if you’re on the right track, you’ll get run over if you just sit there.”

“I don’t make jokes. I just watch the government and report the facts.”

And perhaps my favorite… “There are three kinds of men. The one that learns by reading. The few who learn by observation. The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence for themselves.”

Then, there was his amazing ability to use a rope.  This video demonstrates his incredible talent.

 

We could use another Will Rogers today.
