Slow-walking, stonewalling and refusing.

Those are the current tactics being used by officials at the Department of Justice.  There is reason to believe that they are using these tactics to hide inappropriate (perhaps criminal) behavior from within their own ranks.

Regardless of political persuasion, American citizens should be alarmed and concerned with a Department of Justice that aspires to rise above accountability.  This is not about Trump, Clinton or Obama at the root.  It is about whether or not our form of government can survive without Congressional oversight of the DOJ.

Members of Congress who have top security clearance should be provided ANY information they request from the DOJ.  Classified information can still remain classified, but without the ability of Congress to SEE documents, the DOJ would have absolute power to do anything to anyone in any way at any time.  That is not a formula for freedom.

It is true that power corrupts.  Absolute power corrupts absolutely.

It would obviously have some political backlash, but President Trump needs to fire and replace DOJ officials who are not clearly co-operating with Congress.
