Never in my lifetime has that word more accurately described Leftists.
Disparaging, lying and verbally assaulting the President is the “in” thing to do, if you are a Leftist.
This President doesn’t mind giving his adversaries plenty of ammunition. Political correctness is not his mode of operation. Unlike politicians on both sides of the isle, this President isn’t very concerned about “the political fallout”. He shoots from the hip, unafraid to say what is on his mind. That makes him “unstable” and “dangerous” in the eyes of Leftists, Establishment Republicans and the political correctness police.
I was not a Donald Trump fan. He was not my candidate.
BUT…
As I have watched his performance and actual results during the first year and a half of his administration, he is winning me over. The more he moves America in the right direction, the more I think he is the right man in the right place at the right time. The outrage from Leftists and Establishment Republicans might be the best barometer with which to judge the Trump successes. He is dismantling the destructive policies and procedures put in place by these people over the last few decades, and he is doing it with haste.
So, who are these people, who are spewing such hate???
They are the wicked among us who, given the opportunity, would destroy America.

Gordon, it is not the leftist that you so despise, it is your lying, narcissistic, & fear mongering president that is causing the American people to be divided. How can an angry man lead when all he does is lies, threaten, and deceive?
Actually, I don’t despise Leftists. I have many friends (and family) who fit that description. None of them that I know are demonstrating the kind of behavior I am calling out, even though they are VERY unhappy about the new (and I think, much better) direction from the Oval office. The kind of rhetoric and behavior identified in this post is off the charts… unacceptable from anyone in any political party. Period.

No double standard here, Jody. What is front and center right now is the really ugly behavior of some Leftists. I don’t mind calling out either party… anyone… suggesting a President should be assassinated, or someone holding a life-like decapitated head of a President. Surely, you would agree these people are over the edge..
Isn’t it ironic that some who are trying to destroy American can also be found within his own party. Those who have become part of the problem reside in BOTH parties. Voters realized that TRUMP was the only “outside the slick Willy political choices” box they had to choose from. Accomplishing ANYTHING with those odds against you says a lot about his intentions, determination and ability to get things done. Devine intervention works!
