A Somber Celebration

Remains of US servicemen are on their way home.

Finally.

It’s been a long time since the Korean war.  No President has been able to negotiate the return of US servicemen remains.  Until now.

Obviously a bittersweet closure for many families, this marks a recognition of the supreme sacrifice of so many.  It will provide an opportunity for the families, and the country, to put this to rest at long last.  It is cause for ALL Americans to quietly celebrate.  It is also cause to thank President Donald Trump for this significant accomplishment.

Don’t hold your breath.

ALL Americans are not celebrating.  Many are quietly (or not so quietly) sulking and finding fault… even with this.

President Donald Trump, love him or hate him, is a game changer.  I will say again that he was not my choice.  I didn’t like him.  I reluctantly voted for him.  Since his term in office began, his performance in office has had me on my feet cheering nearly every day.

I won’t list Trump’s many accomplishments here.  Those who like what he has done and is doing already know them.  Trump haters won’t listen or acknowledge them anyway.

While Leftists in both the Democrat and Republican Parties are groping desperately for something… anything… with which to discredit the President, he just keeps making good things happen.

The families of these fallen soldiers, and American patriots everywhere salute you.

God bless you, Mr. President.

This is great…but WHY were the remains wrapped in the UN Symbol rather than the American Flag? Maybe Korea wrapped it for us…but why didn’t anyone throw a US flag over them? They did NOT fight for the UN – many fought AGAINST a One World Government – they fought for OUR FLAG
