Donald Trump and Foster Friess Will Make the GOP Great Again

Establishment politicians rely upon local machines to keep incumbents in office.  Fundraising is taken care of by a few well-placed calls to those who want a piece of the power-and-influence pie.  It always feels nice to be able to pick up the clout phone to get your way, thus bypassing the voting masses.

On the national level, Donald Trump’s status as a billionaire caught everyone’s attention right away.  He could be as independent and ideological (that is principle-driven) as he wants to be.  No phone calls would come in demanding this or that in repayment for donations.  He has proven to be just what America needed at a time when it was most in trouble.  Unparalleled grassroots democracy at its best.  He is a fighter, confrontational, and nontraditional, forcing people out of their comfort zones.

Foster Friess in Wyoming is doing the same, a conservative juggernaut.  His saturation television commercials emphasize values on the right that clearly distinguish him from other candidates on the left and center who use the “conservative” rubber stamp in a purely mechanical way.  Just for comparison, a bad commercial is one like Arby’s “We have the meats“ which grinds on mindlessly and obnoxiously every few minutes month after month.  Shouldn’t consciousness be protected?

To sum up, President Trump proved that the establishment can be successfully challenged and defeated or reformed.  The GOP is now under his control.  The same can happen to the Democratic Party in the US.  After all, aren’t the only real “parties” in America the orientations we call left and right, regardless of the party label?  Further the cause, for example, by running as a firebrand right-winger within the Democratic Party.  If you win, make no bones about your “fifth column” support for the president.
